Q: How do we hire your services?
A: Start by linking to New Client Registration and completing our online registration form. We will set up a visit for you and your furry friend to meet us at The Pet Shop Boys, 3080 Cambie Street. We will keep your dog for about 2 hours to determine compatibility. If both parties feel comfortable and secure with the arrangements, then we will validate your registration so that you can book your own home boarding, daycare or dog walking dates online at your convenience.

Q: With home, boarding does my dog have access to all the house?
A: Yes your dog does have complete access.

Q: Will my dog be left alone any time during the day while home boarded?
A: No, your dog will be accompanying us to work at our store/daycare every fun filled day during their stay with us.

Q: How often will my dog be walked during a home boarding/daycare?
A: Part of our services we offer is sitting down with you and planning an exercise program that will meet your dog's activity needs. For example, if you have a high energy dog we might start off the morning with a 45 minute walk in the park, then in the early afternoon a 2 hour walk to the dog beach. For home boarding we would include a 20-45 minute walk before bedtime.

Q: How do I know what time you have picked up or dropped off my dog for their dog walks?
A: When we pick up and drop off, we send you a text message or email notifying you.

Q: Do you take aggressive, strong or independent dogs?
A: Yes we do but only on private walks.

Q: How many dogs are in your group walks?
A: We only take a maximum of 6 dogs per dog walker to make sure your furry friends gets enough attention and is well looked after.

Q: Where will my dog sleep while being home boarded?
A: He or she will sleep in our living room on a plush dog bed with our other dogs. If your dog suffers from separation anxiety, or needs special medication attention then they will sleep in our bedroom, next to our bed.

Q: What food will my dog eat?
A: We request that you would provide sufficient dog food and inform us of any special instructions or specifications.

Q: What happens if my dog gets wet or muddy on walks?
A: We rub down and towel dry before we drop off.

Q: Do you take large breeds?
A: Yes we take large and small dogs. Please see our client wall!
